The
Mischievous Mouse
By Quinn Kaufman
One day a mouse came upon a house. The people who lived here did not like mice and had a cat. The cat would never stop looking for a mouse until it was gone.
The mouse named Twitchy was quite hungry and was in the mood for cheese. He wondered if the people would be kind to give him cheese. He was very wrong about that because the very second the mouse walked in the house the cat named Peter pounced and tried to eat Twitchy. Though Twitchy should have been eaten he was not because he was so twitchy the cat could not hold him down.
Twitchy
scurried off in search of a hole in the wall to hide in before the
cat caught him. There were no holes except for one that quite small
and hard to get into. On the other side was what looked like a
mansion for mice to play and have fun. There were many mice in there
but seemed all scared were not having fun. They all acted very
strange so Twitchy left because he was terrified of what he was
seeing. It was almost to late because He had just noticed that there
was a big hole where a cat could fit through. The next thing Twitchy
knew was that he was flying through the air and landed in a pile of
pillows.
After the cat left Twitchy started thinking of schemes. He thought of so many until one hit him. He should befriend the cat and get the cheese. It was not as hard as Twitchy let himself get caught by Peter and try to convince him to be nice to mice. This was easy because Peter was thinking about leaving his family since they were so mean to him. They left the house with all the, the cat food, and all of the family’s to teach them a lesson.
