I'm going crazy.
What is wrong with me? I mean, I understand I have a somewhat addictive personality, but this whole internet 2.0 crapola whatever you call it is getting freaking stupid. I have agonized for the past hour over the fact that my iPod Touch calendar will not sync with any calendar on a pc except Outlook. I don't even use calendars. I can't even keep up with a simple fridge mounted paper calendar, what makes me think I could suddenly have a seamlessly integrated web 2.0 twitter pownce flickr calendar life?
Ok, here's a list of the things I have joined, fairly recently, yes I am a little behind the times, on the internet:
Vox
Tumblr
Twitter
Pownce
Jaiku
Xanga
Delicious
Digg
Ravelry
Make Me Sustainable
Flickr
Google Reader
Google Calendar
Tada Lists

and I am probably forgetting some that I joined and either forgot about or quickly decided to unjoin. Dare you ask how many subscriptions I have on my Google Reader? 54. I just started doing Google Reader like a week ago. I am obsessed with blogging and tweeting until I am the coolest most famous internet person ever. I deeply despise MySpace, and in my head, this totally rationalizes joining all of these other "communities". I know, it makes no sense. But I like it.
That's my whole problem. I am in too deep to quit now. The sad part is, I've joined all of these places, and actually created little to no content. Oh, I forgot Blogher. and all the blog challenges I joined. Like NaBloPoMo and 25 Days, and some book reading ones. Well, sooner or later the content will catch up, right? sooner or later I'll stop joining things and actually do something. Like maybe, clean the kitty litter.

Don?t worry, I?m just glad you?re here to teach me some things. Most of that stuff sounds so foreign. That?s why I like Palehour because it keeps us connected! Do what you love, anything that keeps you happy/healthy, and don?t worry about anything else.

Starfish Not that this is going to make you feel any better but I agonize the same way. I spent 30 minutes the other day adding applications to my iGoogle... which I actually use every day... it's pretty good... now don't go do that too! haha.

I think it's important to remember that you're not in any way required to update any of that stuff. I don't update my xanga very much anymore. But I DO read a lot of eco and craft blogs now and I blame you! haha. It ain't a waste of time if you're having fun.

Now I'm gonna go join Make Me Sustainable :P
