Saddle Up and Ride for Roswell Park
The fifth annual equestrian event will raise funds for cancer research
and patient care programs at RPCI
(Buffalo, NY) Chestnut Ridge Equestrian Center will be the site of the fifth annual Saddle Up for Roswell on Saturday, September 18 at the Chestnut Ridge Equestrian Center in Gasport, NY. All proceeds of the event benefit cancer research and patient care programs at Roswell Park Cancer Institute. Riders have collected pledges to participate in the event and many riders will ride in honor or in memory of loved ones touched by cancer by bearing names on their saddle pads.
A rain or shine event, the day?s festivities will include riders of all ages and skill levels competing in dressage, show jumping and cross country trials for ribbons. In addition to the competition, the event will also feature refreshments, a Soft Ice Cream Truck, basket raffles, t-shirt sales, face painting, and caricatures.
Saddle Up for Roswell will take place at the Equestrian Center at 7913 Chestnut Ridge Road. For more information contact Megan Gamin at (716) 772-7703. Additional details can be found at http://chestnutridgeequestriancenter.com/
